Visit of Dr. Yannick Kuehl from National Geographic Asia-Pacific to PSSP-IPB
Dr. Yannick Kuehl is the Senior Director of Program and Explorer Development-Asia Pacific National Geographic, visiting Dr. Yannick Kuehl from National Geographic Asia-Pacific to the PSSP-IPB to deliver research programs that can be funded by National Geographic.
As an organization which was established on 27 January 1888, 33 people were interested in the field of geography, now developing into a very large organization. The Nat Geo Foundation sponsors and funds exploration and scientific research, publishes official journals, scientific magazines, books, maps, web and films.
The educational foundation provides assistance to organizations and individuals for geography and conservation education. On the occasion of the meeting at PSSP Dr. Yannick introduced various grants to scientists, conservationists, teackers, photographers, journalists and engineers covering the fields of conservation, education, research, and stories.
Participants in the meeting besides the PSSP researchers and Primatology students were also present researchers and lecturers from LIPI, Botanical Gardens, IPB Faculty of Fisheries, IPB Faculty of Forestry, Biology Department and Pakuan University.
