PSSP Research Staff invited in the Workshop on Initiating Indonesia’s List of Regulated Agents and Biosecurity Programs in Life Science for Indonesia
PSSP research staff Dr. dr. Iskandriati, Dr. Dr. Joko Pamungkas, MSc and Dr. Uus Saepuloh, MBiomed were invited to the workshop “Initiating Indonesia’s List of Regulated Agents and” Biosecurity Program in Life Science for Indonesia “, which was held on October 22-25 2018 took place at The Hermitage Hotel Jakarta.To achieve the purpose of this event Dr. drh Diah Iskandriati and Dr. drh Joko Pamungkas, MSc as the board members of the Indonesian Biorisiko Association participated in the event.
The purpose of this Workshop is :
- Identify and categorize lists of selected agents
- Determine how to use the chosen agent correctly in accordance with the principles of risk management
- Improve the ability to assess risk related to biology in life science research
- Train how to develop a biosecurity training module for life sciences in Indonesia
- Increase the capacity of trainers in implementing personal reliability in the practice of dual use
- Develop a biosecurity response system at the national level
