PSSP Research Staff is a resource person in the Mentawai Islands Endemic Primate Conservation Seminar in Siberut National Park

PSSP research staff Dr. Uus Saepuloh, MBiomed and Dr. Ir Dyah Perwitasari were present at the seminar “Mentawai Islands Endemic Primate Conservation in Siberut National Park, with the presentation title Genetic Analysis of Hylobates klosii and Genetic Analysis of Macaca sp in the Mentawai Islands, held on the 15th October 16, 2018 at Grand Inna Muara Padang Convetion & Exhibition Hotel Padang, West Sumatra.

The seminar was held by Taman Safari Indonesia (TSI). Primate Animal Study Center, Taman Safari Indonesia and Siberut National Park are collaborating in an Indonesian endemic primate conservation program and one of the program activities is conducting surveys and research for 4 endemic primate species in Siberut National Park, Mentawai Islands.
