The Health Research Ethics Commission (KEPK) of the Faculty of Medicine at Lambung Mangkurat University (FK ULM) held a “Basic and Advanced Ethics Training (EDL) in Research by Including Humans as Subjects” in Banjarmasin, 28-30 April 2018. This activity is part of the training series organized by the National Health Health Research & Development Commission (KEPPKN) of the Indonesian Ministry of Health to KEPK throughout Indonesia and to researchers who include humans as research subjects.
Training materials related to aspects of human health were provided by resource persons and facilitators Dr. Dr. Triono Soendoro, PhD, Chairperson of KEPPKN, while the material related to the utilization of laboratory animals for research was given by Dr. drh. Joko Pamungkas, MSc, KEPPKN Member who is also a senior researcher at the Primate Animal Study Center of LPPM-IPB.
Most of the training participants were KEPK members as well as researchers from ULM FK Banjarmasin, FKG ULM Banjarmasin, Palangkaraya University, Muhammadiyyah University Banjarmasin, STIKes Cahaya Bangsa Banjarmasin, and RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin.
