Biosafety Training on 3 February 2016

This Biosafety Training continued the previous series of PSSP LPPM-IPB training activities on February 2, 2016, namely ACUC Training. This training is held once a year and must be accepted by all workers in the PSB PSB, both workers in the Laboratory, administration and housekeeping. This training is divided into two classes. The first class is for administrative, laboratory and household employees. The second class is for staff researchers, paramedics, and laboratory technicians. The purpose of the training is to recognize and understand the rules of work safety, understand the biohazard risk in the laboratory, understand the differences between the four Biological Risk Groups, have good work knowledge at certain laboratory levels (1-4), can use and understand the limitations of the Safety Cabinet, can take steps to be taken in the event of a work accident, also how to handle sharp objects used in experimental procedures, learn safe procedures for working with material from humans and animals, learn how to bring dangerous agents (dangerous goods) and able to carry out procedures for handling laboratory waste.
