1st Annual International Conference and Exhibition of IMERI 2016

Wednesday, November 16, 2016. Dr. drh. Joko Pamungkas, MSc (Head of PSSP LPPM-IPB) and Dr. dr. Irma H Suparto, MS (Executive Secretary of PSSP LPPM-IPB) spoke at the 1st Annual International Conference and Exhibition of IMERI 2016 at IMERI Tower, Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia. The event was held from November 14, 2016 to November 16, 2016. The topic presented by Dr. drh. Joko Pamungkas, MSc is “Development of Indonesian Nonhuman Primates as Animal Model to Support Translational Human Health Studies”. While the topic presented by Dr. dr. Irma H Suparto, MS is “Occupational Health & Safety Program at Nonhuman Primates Research Facility: Lessons learned at the Primate Research Center of Bogor Agricultural University”.

IMERI is the first medical education and research center in Indonesia. Dean of FKUI, Ratna Sitompul, MD, Ph.D said that IMERI was present to answer the problems of the Indonesian medical world. There are several medical research facilities currently at IMERI, including animal research facilities, molecular laboratory, and pre-test clinic.
