PSSP Conservation Staff attended a Geographic Information System workshop
Wednesday, December 14, 2016 – PSSP has a rare opportunity to attend a Geographic Information System workshop organized by IPB, in collaboration with ArcGIS by Esri. Because the workshop on the field of geographic information systems was first followed by the PSSP. This activity is one form of multidisciplinary strengthening collaborated with technology and information, so that output can be applied globally and dynamically.
ArcGIS The Technical Workshop Platform was held for two days (December 14-15 2016) in the Pangrango Room, Center for Environmental Research, Dramaga Campus of IPB, Bogor. PSSP had the opportunity to attend a workshop on the first day together with several representatives from the Faculty and the Study Center. PSSP is represented by Ardi Wiranata, A.Md as a Conservation staff.
According to Ardi, in the future PSSP can start trying to integrate science in the scope of conservation, especially those related to Macaca fascicularis habitat on Tinjil Island in collaboration with ArcGIS by Esri.
