About 30 students of the IPB Faculty of Veterinary Medicine who are members of the Wildlife Professional Student Association have visited the Primate-IPB Animal Study Center Office on Thursday 10 May 2018.
On that occasion the students got lectures on primate animals from Prof. Dondin Sajuthi, MST, PhD. As usual Prof. Dondin Sajuthi, MST, PhD gave a very interesting lecture and opened the minds of students about primates around the world.
Next, the head of the PSSP center, Drh Huda S Darusman, PhD, gave an introduction to the PSSP and the activities carried out included research conducted at the PSSP.
Drh Permanawati as AV at the PSSP gave an explanation, regarding the responsibilities of an animal doctor in captivity facilities, especially those that have been internationally accredited such as research animal facilities at the PSSP.
Furthermore Drh Fitriya Nur Annisa Dewi, PhD delivered a summary of all the lectures today and gave a memento from PSSP through interesting games.
This visit was closed with a visit to the laboratory and lunch together.
