Animal Care and Use Committee PSSP The LPPM-IPB role plays a role in ensuring the implementation of animal welfare principles in activities involving the use of animals in the PSSP. To ensure KPKPHP4 is able to carry out this function, one of the commission programs includes the continuing education or continuing education for KPKPHP4 members in the form of annual training on topics relevant to the functions and role of the ethics commission. On April 11, 2018, one of the agendas at the KPKPHP4 PSSP monthly meeting of LPPM-IPB was filled with the provision of material by Drh Imelda Winoto, Sert.DHPHL regarding the functions of KPKPHP4 namely Periodic Program Evaluation and Facility Inspection. In his presentation, Dr Imelda reminded the contents of the guidelines and references that were the basis of the members of the commission in carrying out their duties in reviewing animal maintenance and use programs, and in inspecting animal facilities within the PSSP. The presentation was followed by active discussion from the members.
