Workshop on Public Relations Group of the Bogor Agricultural University

In the current era of openness, the role of PR is very important to convey all activities including promoting the image of an institution in a more positive direction. Building good communication with stake holders, building the reputation of the institution and overcoming negative issues related to the institution.

Moreover, this year the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB) has been named the only State Higher Education Institution (PTN) that has entered the informative cluster version of the Central Information Commission (KIP) or has the highest score. The award was given at the Palace of the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia on Monday (11/05/2018) which was submitted by the Vice President to the Chancellor of IPB http://www.radarbogor.id/2018/11/07/ipb-satu-satunya- ptn-informative-version-commission-information-center /

For this reason, all units within the IPB are required to form a communication bureau with a workshop for the person in charge of communication units held on November 15, 2018. The workshop speaker was Ir. Heri Rakhmadi is a PR practitioner who has experience delivering material entitled “Being responsive PR in the Competitive Era”.

Speakers conveyed broadly the world of public relations in the country. On this occasion the representative of the PSSP Isti Kartika Sari, MSi received an award as the most active participant and received a prize in the form of a book entitled PR in Government.
