On February 26, 2018 at the PSSP office, Jalan Lodaya II No.5 Bogor, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Siloam Hospital Bogor (Dr. Finna E Indriany, MM as Director of Siloam Hospital represented by Mr. Catra, Marketing Division of Siloam Hospital Bogor) with a Study Center Primate Animals (drh Huda S Darusman, MSi, PhD as Head of PSSP, LPPM-IPB). The cooperation agreement that is valid for 4 years (2018-2022) is one of the programs of the PSSP Occupational Health and Safety Commission (K3) related to handling in the event of a work accident against staff in the PSSP environment can be caused by bite or scratch of primates, Dr. Dr Irma H Suparto (K3 PSSP program health consultant) and Silvia Arin Prabandari, MSi, APVet (K3 PSSP officer) held discussions with medical staff (doctors and nurses) in the Emergency Installation Unit (IGD) of Siloam Hospital Bogor to provide knowledge about zoonotic potential of animals wild primates are mainly infections due to Cercophitecinae herpesvirus 1. The discussion was attended by 15 medical personnel (doctors and nurses) who received a positive response from the participants because knowledge about the zoonotic potential of primate animals is still very lacking.
