Dr. drh. Diah Iskandriati with the theme of Nonhuman Primate Model for Infectious Disease Study-Harnessing Knowledge From Nature For Goodness of Mankind from PSSP IPB conveyed her perspective clearly about NHP which is used for translational research in infectious diseases through complete but easy-to-understand presentations.

Peter Johannes Holst who raised the theme of Macaques and Human Vaccine Technologies to HIV, Cancer and Papillomavirus from the University of Copenhagen shared his experience on vaccine technology by providing CD cells vaccines that help and have specific targets.

The study of vaccine development in the final phase will involve a challenge test to see the efficacy of requiring experimental animals that are known to be susceptible to their susceptible viruses, PSSP has the capacity to prepare and provide primate animals that are suitable for those needs. Participants included from the IPB FKH, Primate Animal Study Center, SPS-IPB Primatology Study Program, LIPI Biology Research Center, Indonesian People’s Miners Association, IPB Tropical Horticulture Study Center, PT. Biofarma, IMERI FKUI, PT. Bimana Indomedical, PT. Hatfield Indonesia, Virology Research Center and Pathobiology Cancer (PRVKP-FKUI RSCM).
