On April 19 2018 at the Primate Animal Study Center Office of LPPM-IPB, the PSSP held an Application Workshop on PCR Techniques for Diagnostic Tests of Pathogenic Agents in Animals. The agenda of the workshop began with remarks from the head of the PSSP center LPPM-IPB Dr. Huda S Darusman, MSi, PhD and remarks from the chairman of West Java II PDHI Prof. Dr. Deni Noviana, PhD and attended by Institutions from the University of Indonesia, Animal Sanctuary Trust Indonesia, WWF Indonesia-Ujung Kulon Project, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine IPB, PT. Satwa Medika Utama, Private, PT. Global Spirit Intensa, My Vets Animal Clinic, UI Faculty of Engineering, and Bogor Hospitality Study Program. With 3 speakers from the research staff and the head of the PSSP program, LPPM-IPB included:
- Dr Dr Diah Iskandriati with the theme “Diagnostic Test for the detection of pathogenic microorganisms”.
- Dr. Uus Saepuloh, SSi, MBed on the theme “Application of PCR techniques in molecular diagnostic testing”.
- Dr. Permanawati with the theme “Benefits of the PCR technique as a diagnostic test in supporting definitive diagnostic confirmation – lessons learned from the case of pets”.
