Annual Health Training and Occupational Safety

On Tuesday 4 December 2018, the Annual Health and Safety (K3) Routine Training was held for PSSP employees. As an institution that works with hazardous biological materials, k3 training, biosafety, safety biology, fire extinguishers are mandatory from institutions that must be followed every year. The aim of this training is to make all PSSP employees work according to good and right rules.

The training was divided into 2 sessions, the first session in the morning with Dr. Irma H Suparto, MS as an Instructor, for PSSP employees who worked with animals and products that came from animals. The second session in the afternoon, Dr Silvia Arin Prabandari, APVet became a resource for Administrative and Household employees who did not directly work with animals.

The purpose of this training is to ensure the health, safety and welfare of personnel who work at the PSSP to find out the risk of contact with primates and their products, know how to protect themselves and know what should be done in the event of an accident.

In addition, it also ascertains whether employees have received mandatory immunizations such as hepatitis, rabies, MMR and rongent thorax.
