Workshop and FGD: Formulation of the National Wildlife Forensic Network System

PSSP as an institution known for its capabilities has been asked to participate in the Workshop and FGD Formulation of the National Wildlife Forensic Network System. Drh Silvia Arin Prabandari as head of the PSSP Pathology Laboratory, attended the event which took place in Medan on 28-29 November 2018.

The purpose of this event is to initiate the establishment of a National Wildlife Forensic System, increase the knowledge of personnel in efforts to enforce the law against wildlife crime and death cases, understand procedures and hold work in law enforcement processes and establish synchronization of cooperation between institutions.

Drh Silvia Arin was invited in her capacity as a histopathologist at the PSSP to provide material on the role of histopathology laboratories in identifying tissue damage, required samples and preservation and delivery of fiber samples of documents needed in shipping and inspection.
