Research Activities
As a research institution, the main activity of the Primate Animal Study Center of LPPM-IPB is to carry out ongoing research.
The research activities at the Primate Animal Study Center of LPPM-IPB were inseparable from the collaboration that was built with work partners. The ongoing research & just ended between the Primate Study Center and work partners include:
- Development of cell culture models from primate breast tissue
- Effect of katuk leaf extract on regulation of mammary gland epithelial cells
- Effect of soy isoflavones on differentiation of mammary gland stem cells in the prevention of breast cancer risk
- Development of in vitro models of Hepatocyte culture cells originating from Tupaia sp as supporting virus replication
