In his Doctoral promotion session, Dr. CKM Colonel Agus Harsoyo. Spjp presented a dissertation summary at the Postgraduate School meeting room, Campus of the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB) Dramaga, Bogor, West Java, Wednesday (03/13/19).
“Cardomyocytes and cardiac electrical cells have been found and identified through bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (SPMST),” said Agus
In his presentation, Agus hoped that the government would follow up on this discovery, so that it could be mass-produced and the community felt the benefits.
Meanwhile, Professor of Biochemistry at IPB, Prof. Dr. Dr. Maria Bintang, MS said that this alternative therapy would open the way for people to get heart disease treatment at a more affordable price.
“This cell therapy will later open the way for people to get heart treatment at a more affordable price,” Maria said.
The event was attended by around 100 people with various disciplines, including the 6th Deputy President of Indonesia from 1993-1998, retired Army General Try Sutrisno, as a trial examiner including Professor of Biochemistry at IPB, Prof. Dr. drh Maria Bintang MS, Veterinary Microbilogy IPB, Dr Fitriya Nur Annisa Dewi, PhD and Professor of Cardiology at IPB, Prof. Dr. Dr. Dede Kusmana SpJK, and other invitees.
