Biology and Global Health Conservation on Tinjil Island
The IPB Primate Animal Study Center collaborates with the Center for Global Field Study and the Washington National Primate Research Center from Wahington University, USA.
will conduct a “Field Course in Conservation Biology and Global Health” on the island of Tinjil on 17 August – 7 September 2013.
The program provides an introduction to conservation biology disciplines, various related topics are also discussed, including primate and ecological animal behavior,
methods of field studies, management and conservation strategies, and interfaces of the human environment. This program consists of daily lectures, field training,
individual projects, and educational programs that reach the public.
