Activity of Biorisiko Management System Assessment in Primate Animal Study Center of LPPM-IPB
The Biorisiko Management System Assessment Activity in the Primate Animal Study Center of LPPM-IPB, held for 5 days on September 17-21 2018. This activity is to implement assessment of the risk management system in the Primate Animal Study Center of LPPM-IPB. This activity is a continuation of the 2016 Biorisk Management Enhancement Grant (BMEG) entitled Sero-surveillance and Pathogen Characterization of Burkholderia Pseudomallei in Macaca fascicularis and M. nemestrina in Indonesia.
Assessment activities were carried out by consultants from the US, namely Dr. Debra Sharpe, MPH, CCHO, RBP from Sharpe Solutions International (US Subject Matter Expert, SME), Tom Vincent, MPA, MPH from CRDF Global and Dr. Drah Diah Iskandriati (Indonesian SME) which will later produce recommendations for improvement of the BEP system to improve the PSSP bioris risk management system of LPPM-IPB. As BEP’s commitment to improve the risk management system in Southeast Asia.
