Exciting! Field Course activities on Tinjil Island
Implementation of Field Course / Training activities on Tinjil Island on 06-27 August 2016 titled “Field Course in Conservation Biology and Global Health”. The training activities that lasted for 3 weeks left behind exciting and challenging experiences. The annual training held by the Center for Primate Animal Studies of IPB was attended by participants from various good institutions and
domestic and foreign countries. Successful activities were carried out thanks to the cooperation between the PSSP LPPM-IPB and the Center for Global Field Study, University of Washington. This program is an annual training program aimed at providing field-based education and the opportunity to conduct research for individuals who have an interest in the fields of Conservation Biology, Animal Behavior, Primatology, Environment and Global Health. The training participants were not only provided with material from expert instructors, but also direct research practices in the open. Hopefully, the participants can apply the knowledge gained during the training.
Especially on August 17, 2016 (to coincide with the 71st anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia), the training participants were treated to exciting and challenging games from the Field Course activity committee on Tinjil Island. The trainees from abroad were enthusiastic in participating in games throughout the day during the 71st anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia. Lots of exciting experiences that made the participants of the Field Course activities on Tinjil Island so enjoying the activity.
