22nd National Education Day Commemoration

In commemoration of the 22nd National Education Day which falls on August 10, 2017. The Center for Primate Animal Studies (PSSP) LPPM-IPB as the Center for Excellence in Science and Technology (PUI) participated in the annual celebration. The 22nd National Education Day Commemoration was held at the Center Point of Indonesia, Makassar.

The 22nd Hakteknas commemoration was officially opened by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Jusuf Kalla accompanied by the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Mohamad Nasir. Also present was the Father of Indonesian Technology, B.J. Habibie, as well as the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture, Puan Maharani.

In the framework of commemorating the 22nd National Education Day, the Ritech Expo which is an annual exhibition of research, innovation, and technology for the nation’s children was held for 3 days (August 10-13, 2017). Various works of the nation’s children can be seen by the people of Makassar and its surroundings. PSSP itself prefers to educate the public who visit the booth with the introduction of diverse Indonesian primates.
