20 years of researching primates, IPB gave Randall an award
JAKARTA – The Chancellor of the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB) Herry Suhardiyanto gave a certificate of appreciation to primate researchers from the University of Washington, Randall C Kyes. The awarding of this certificate is an IPB award to Randall who has worked together in the field of research during
around 20 years.
“This is a form of long-term commitment, especially in the field of primates. Prof. Randall has consistently held for 20 years
“research related to primates and held training and education for students of IPB students,” Herry said while giving awards, such as

The awarding of the Award Certificate was given solemnly attended by, Vice Chancellor for Research and Cooperation Anas M Fauzi, Director of Cooperation
Rinekso Soekmadi, Head of the International Cooperation Sector M Agil, Secretary of IPB PSSP Irma Herawati Suparto, and Entang Iskandar. Besides certificates,
Herry also handed over a miniature IPB Rector building and several books related to the research results of IPB.
Randall said he was very happy to get the certificate. “This is an award for me. IPB is my second home, ”

Randall, who will return to America in January 2013, revealed that IPB is very serious in encouraging students to advance. He hopes,
this collaboration continues to be maintained and developing. “The most important thing in cooperation is not a funding problem but a good relationship between the two sides
